We have gone through the process of testing many vinyl products. Most of the products we tested didn’t meet Saddleback standards, but one did.

When we started the process, we were looking for a product we could be proud of, one we knew our customers would love to see every day for a very long time.

The key points we were looking for were durability, low maintenance, and aesthetic.

Durability

Have you ever heard of “shadow fencing”? Shadow fencing is a fence built with material so thin you can see the objects on the other side of the fence. It isn’t completely transparent, but you can tell it’s thin.

At Saddleback, shadow fencing is unacceptable. We tested a batch of vinyl products to see if there was a better option than the one we chose.

1. Saddleback’s fence is going to last even in the California sun. Our white vinyl fence has a protective layer called ACCU-Shield to reduce oxidation. It also helps prevent sun damage.
2. It’s thick. There will be no shadowing with our fence. You can feel the high-quality material.
3. We take extra measures to secure your fence. In every vinyl fencing job, our customers will receive two longevity components. We install U-Channel, an additional piece of vinyl that holds the tongue and groove boards in place. And we also install an Aluminum Bottom Stiffener into the bottom rail to prevent your fence from sagging.

Low to No Maintenance

Saddleback’s white vinyl fence boasts low or no maintenance. Depending on the area you live in, you may need a small amount of maintenance. By maintenance we mean you rinse it off with a hose because it’s a little dirty. Sometimes you don’t have to do anything! Doesn’t that sound nice?

The traditional fence is made of wood. Wood is great but it has its problems. Wood attracts termites. It dries out and rots. And you must stain it on a yearly basis. It is a pain.
